Today I am sharing this beautiful chippy paint, white dresser.
I came across it just like this! Another lucky find.
With a piece like this there isn’t much to do but clean & sure-up the drawers with some wood glue.
I took out all the drawers, removed the hardware & scrubbed her down with some soap and water.
I cleaned the hardware that came with the piece as well.
I used cans of paint to help weight down drawer pieces while the glue was curing.
Once the drawers were completed, I gave the whole piece a coat of Minwax’s Polycrylic Protective Finish in Clear Matte.
Once the drawers were back in the frame this little project was done!
An easy-peasy fix thank goodness! Still lots of character to go around PLUS I would be going for a similar look if I was using paint.
This piece will also be available for purchase at this weekend’s Mini Event located in
The Factory Antique Mall in Verona, VA.
Check back tomorrow for another post!
